The crown jewel of Hong Kong Art Month and the city’s art calendar, this year's Art Basel takes place from March 23 to 25 at the Hong Kong Convention Centre. Featuring masterpieces and contemporary artworks from numerous galleries around the world, as well as a series of programmes and talks for visitors to take part in, there’s never a dull moment at Art Basel.
Held from March 23 to 25, the 2023 edition of Art Basel Hong Kong is set to be its biggest show since 2019 with the participation of 177 galleries from 32 countries and territories spanning Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Africa. Additionally, all of the fair's special sectors will be making a comeback, including Encounters, a curated sector dedicated to large-scale works; Kabinett, a sector for thematic solo presentations with a strong Asia focus; Conversations, featuring more than 85 speakers who will share their perspectives on producing, collecting, and exhibiting art; and Film, a free admission programme featuring eight screenings and 29 video works.
